Isfahan: The US-Israeli attacks have caused $500 million in damage to 21 historic sites in Iran's Isfahan, the governor said.
According to Anadolu Agency, the provincial administration is "fully prepared to pursue compensation for the damage to historical sites through the relevant national and international authorities," Isfahan's governor stated. The report from Iran's Tasnim News Agency was shared on the US social media platform X on Friday.
Since the joint attacks by Israel and the US on February 28, over 1,300 people have been killed, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, leading to heightened hostilities in the region. Iran has responded with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets.
