US President Trump Highlights Iran’s Interest in Nuclear Agreement Amid Ongoing Talks

Washington: US President Donald Trump has stated that Iran has 'an interest in reaching an agreement' as talks concerning Tehran's nuclear program continue without a resolution. Trump expressed uncertainty about the timeline for a potential deal during a phone interview with French broadcaster BFMTV, emphasizing the consequences for Iran if an agreement is not reached.

According to Anadolu Agency, Iraq's new Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi has officially taken office following a handover ceremony in Baghdad. The Iraqi News Agency reported that al-Zaidi assumed his duties after the Iraqi parliament expressed confidence in him and 14 of his Cabinet ministers, although a vote on nine other ministerial positions was postponed.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrations took place across Europe, marking the 78th anniversary of the Nakba, which refers to the displacement of Palestinians during the establishment of Israel in 1948.
