US Senate Campaign Workers Registered as Foreign Agents for Israel

Baku:Michigan Two individuals working on Republican Mike Rogers' U.S. Senate campaign in Michigan have been identified as registered foreign agents for Israel, according to a media report published on Sunday.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, campaign spokesperson Abigail Ronson and communications specialist Jesse Stokes have been engaged in Israeli government communications work since May 2026 and October 2025, respectively. They are working through the major contractor Convergence Media on Rogers' campaign, as reported by Drop Site News.

Ronson registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in May, citing her work with Havas Media Network via Clocktower X LLC, a company linked to former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale. Her registration outlines her role in providing "strategic communications, planning, and media services" for an Israeli government initiative in the U.S. aimed at combating antisemitism.

Stokes registered in October 2025 under the same Havas contract and has reportedly authored several press releases for the Rogers campaign. Ronson is among 14 Convergence Media employees subcontracted for a $46.5 million Israeli government communications project involving social media campaigns and artificial intelligence.

Federal Election Commission records indicate that Rogers' campaign has paid Convergence Media millions of dollars during the election cycle. The campaign has previously denied Ronson's status as a staff member, despite reports of her using an official campaign email address to communicate with journalists.

Requests for comment from Ronson and Stokes were not immediately answered, and another campaign spokesperson did not respond to questions about the campaign's awareness of these arrangements.
