US to Announce Tariff Amounts on Multiple Countries Monday

Washington: President Donald Trump has revealed that the United States is set to announce new tariff amounts on up to 12 countries this coming Monday. The decision, which was disclosed late Friday, indicates a strategic move by the US to impose varying financial measures across several nations.

According to Anadolu Agency, President Trump mentioned to reporters that he has already signed some letters related to the tariffs, which are scheduled to be dispatched on Monday. He specified that the tariffs would involve "probably 12 different amounts of money, different amounts of tariffs and somewhat different statements" for each of the countries involved. However, he refrained from naming the countries that will be affected, simply stating, "You'll be announced. I have to announce that on Monday."

The White House has not provided further details regarding the sectors that will be targeted or the specific tariff rates. The upcoming announcement is anticipated to cover a spectrum of tariff levels along with tailored statements for each of the involved countries, marking a significant development in international trade relations.
