Washington: US President Donald Trump has announced that the ongoing US-Israeli conflict with Iran could potentially reach a resolution if Tehran agrees to certain terms proposed in a potential agreement. Trump warned that a refusal from Iran would lead to renewed bombing campaigns.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trump communicated via his TruthSocial account that if Iran fulfills the conditions of the agreement, the "already legendary Epic Fury" operation would conclude. Furthermore, the effective blockade would permit the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to all vessels, including those from Iran.

The US Central Command reported that the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier is part of a significant assembly of American military resources actively enforcing the naval blockade on Iran. CENTCOM's statement highlighted that 52 commercial ships have been instructed to either turn back or return to port to adhere to the blockade directives.

The Strait of Hormuz serves as a critical maritime corridor, connecting the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. Any disturbances in this area could have far-reaching impacts on global energy supplies and regional stability.
