Women, Children Among Several Killed in Houthi Attack on Civilian Convoy Heading to Aden

Aden: Several people, including women and children, were killed when Yemen's Houthi group attacked a civilian convoy carrying dozens of displaced families toward the southern city of Aden, state-run Al-Joumhouriya TV reported.

According to Anadolu Agency, the convoy was carrying families from Hays, Al-Khawkhah, and Mocha toward Aden when it came under attack. The incident has further escalated tensions in the region, which has been mired in conflict for several years.

Around 15 civilian vehicles were burned in the attack, leaving an unspecified number of casualties. Both fatalities and injuries were reported, affecting women and children among others. The attack has drawn condemnation from various quarters, although no further details were immediately available regarding the exact number of casualties.
