A yellow warning for extreme maximum temperatures is in effect as of 9pm Sunday until 5pm Monday. The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for extreme maximum temperature, that will reach 40 degrees celsius inland on Monday. The warning said that the minimum temperature over inland, south and east coast is not expected to fall below 26 degrees, while the minimum temperature over the west coast is not expected to fall below 25 degrees.
