The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms, for Saturday. The warning is valid from 1100 until 1800. It says that isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect mainly the mountanious areas, the inland areas, the east and the north. In storm, hail is also expected, while winds may be variable strengthening. Precipitation rate is expected to range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour. Source: Cyprus News Agency
