Tehran: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the United States provided Ukraine with information regarding recent meetings held in Moscow. In a video address delivered late Friday, Zelenskyy described the information shared by the US as pertaining to a series of meetings that took place in the Russian capital, highlighting Ukraine's discussions with the US both before and after these meetings.

According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the insights received and the constructive tone maintained in communications with Russia. He emphasized the importance of coordinated actions and praised the US for promoting a realistic approach to resolving ongoing issues. Zelenskyy reiterated the necessity for Russia to cease its military actions and for conditions to be established to ensure this outcome. He did not disclose the identities of the participants in the Moscow meetings.

On Wednesday, reports confirmed by the Kremlin indicated that CIA Director John Ratcliffe visited Moscow on Tuesday. This visit marked the first by a CIA chief since 2021 and involved interactions between security services, which the Kremlin described as a "positive phenomenon, a positive process."

Flight data from Flightradar24 revealed that a US Air Force C-17A Globemaster III traveled from Riga, Latvia, to Moscow's Vnukovo Airport on Tuesday morning, having arrived from Camp Springs, Maryland, near Joint Base Andrews. The aircraft returned to Riga later that evening.

US President Donald Trump referred to Ratcliffe's visit to Moscow as "semi-routine" and, when questioned about Russian President Vladimir Putin's stance on NATO, Trump stated that he had productive discussions with Putin, assuring that there would be no attacks on NATO territory.
