Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Monday that Russia has obtained a new shipment of ballistic missiles from North Korea. He made this claim as part of a broader discussion on Ukraine's military operations, which included a recent strike on a Russian oil-refining facility in Tobolsk, Siberia, located over 2,500 kilometers from Ukraine.

According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy also stated that Moscow is allegedly planning to station more North Korean troops within its borders. The Ukrainian leader shared these details on his Telegram channel, emphasizing the strategic importance of Ukraine's long-range military capabilities, which he says will continue to grow.

Zelenskyy highlighted the significance of the Ukrainian forces' recent achievements, particularly the successful strike on the Tobolsk facility. He praised the Ukrainian warriors for their efforts and reiterated the importance of expanding Ukraine's military reach.

The military relationship between Russia and North Korea has been strengthening, marked by a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement signed in 2024.
