According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy conveyed in a video address shared on his social media accounts that he is confident in Trump's ability to facilitate peace and curb Russian President Vladimir Putin's aggression. He stressed that achieving peace is contingent upon ending Russian aggression, likening the conflict to more than just a simple street fight requiring the calming of both sides.
Zelenskyy highlighted the support Ukraine receives from its partners, particularly emphasizing the strong position held by Washington alongside Kyiv. He expressed his belief that the United States will continue to support Ukraine in its pursuit of peace, stating, "in the first minutes of peace."
