Ankara: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine will be attending the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, scheduled for July 7-8.
According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy revealed this during a joint news conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu. Although he confirmed Ukraine's representation at the summit, he mentioned that the specifics regarding the format and the representatives are still under discussion.
The meeting between Zelenskyy and Sandu took place in Kyiv, where they covered a range of topics including security, cross-border cooperation, energy, infrastructure development, intergovernmental work, and their aspirations toward European Union membership.
Sandu's visit to Kyiv coincided with memorial events commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster, an event that spread radioactive material across Europe.
