Zelenskyy Discusses Drone Cooperation and Security with Saudi Crown Prince

Beirut: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy engaged in discussions with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday, focusing on security cooperation and the implementation of a bilateral drone agreement. The conversation was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with partners in the Middle East.

According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy expressed that the phone conversation with the Crown Prince was aimed at identifying areas where Ukraine and Saudi Arabia can enhance their capabilities. The discussion notably included steps for advancing the "Drone Deal" between the two nations. Additionally, both parties coordinated on aspects of food security, acknowledging its significance as a global necessity.

In another development, Zelenskyy announced personnel changes in Ukraine's military leadership following a meeting with the new Commander-in-Chief, Mykhailo Drapatyi. During the meeting, proposals for personnel shifts were discussed with Drapatyi, Ihor Skybiuk, and Yevhen Khmara. Zelenskyy indicated that some decisions had already been prepared, with more to come.

The meeting also addressed the ongoing situation on the battlefield, particularly in the Donetsk region, and reviewed strategies to strengthen key areas. The government evaluated its strategy for long-range strikes against Russia, as well as plans for mid-range strikes.
