Kyiv: The Ukrainian president engaged in discussions regarding security guarantees, EU sanctions against Russia, and Ukraine's prospective integration into the European Union. These discussions took place through separate phone calls with the Norwegian prime minister and the European Council president.

According to Anadolu Agency, Volodymyr Zelenskyy communicated via Telegram that his dialogue with Norway's Premier Jonas Gahr Store concentrated on the outcomes of Monday's Washington meetings with US President Donald Trump and European leaders. Zelenskyy emphasized the progress made toward securing robust security guarantees. He expressed that reliable and lasting peace hinges on these guarantees and noted ongoing collaboration between Norway and Ukraine, especially in the energy sector.

In a conversation with European Council President Antonio Costa, Zelenskyy addressed the council's session on the Washington talks, marking the results as a significant move toward resolving the conflict and securing safety for Ukraine and Europe. He also mentioned ongoing preparations for the EU's 19th sanctions package against Russia, stressing the necessity of sustained pressure until Russia takes concrete steps to halt the war.

Zelenskyy underscored the importance of unity among EU members concerning Ukraine's journey to membership and the initiation of negotiation clusters. His recent meeting in Washington with US President Donald Trump and European leaders covered long-term security assurances and a potential peace framework with Russia. Future talks are planned at a trilateral level with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
