Evian-les-bains: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a productive meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to explore potential strategies for ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the G7 summit held in Evian-les-Bains, France.
According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy conveyed via the social media platform X that President Lula shared several diplomatic approaches. The discussion also covered the prevailing attitudes within Russian society regarding the war, as well as Ukraine's ongoing diplomatic efforts with Washington and other international allies.
Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of maintaining communication, stating, "We agreed on our further contacts." His visit to France, which commenced on Tuesday, included participation in a Ukraine-G7 format meeting and various bilateral discussions.
During his time in France, Zelenskyy also engaged in talks with several key leaders, including US President Donald Trump, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
