Zelenskyy Outlines Multi-Track Negotiations with US, Europe on Security, Economy

Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine is progressing with parallel negotiation tracks with Europe and the US, focusing on security guarantees, economic recovery, and diplomatic coordination to conclude the ongoing war. Zelenskyy described the day as active, having received briefings from Defense Minister Rustem Umerov about Ukraine's negotiating efforts.

According to Anadolu Agency, preparations are underway in Germany for a military group dedicated to discussing security guarantees for Ukraine. This group is led by Lt. Gen. Mykhailo Hnatov and includes representatives from the armed forces, intelligence services, and security agencies.

In the US, a group is concentrating on economic matters, reconstruction, and investment. This effort is led by Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka, and Economy Minister Oleksii Sobolev, with the involvement of experts.

Zelenskyy also highlighted a third line of work involving continuous online communication between national security advisers and other officials appointed by leaders. He noted regular interactions between the US, Ukraine, European countries, and other members of the Coalition of the Willing, with Umerov moderating these discussions for Kyiv.

Ukraine aims to secure binding security guarantees and sustained international support as part of its broader strategy with Western partners to end the war and ensure post-war recovery.
