Istanbul: The 13th Bosphorus Film Festival, organized by the Bosphorus Culture and Arts Foundation with support from Trkiye's Culture and Tourism Ministry, is set to take place from November 7 to 14. Attendees will have the opportunity to view 31 short and documentary films during the event.

According to Anadolu Agency, this year's National Short Fiction Competition offers a selection of films, including "Dreamt by Another" by Vikki Bardot, "Making a Crane Bird" by Nevzat Dogan, and "Defne" by Hamdi Furkan Yildirim, among others. The International Short Fiction Competition will feature films such as "Attitude" and "Thread" from Iran, "Comunque Bene" from Italy, and "Don't You Dare" from Russia, providing a platform for diverse storytelling from across the globe.

The Documentary Competition will present works like "Tree Man" by Mehmet Ali Poyraz and "In the Shade of the Poplar Tree" by Kenan Diler. These films will compete for the festival's top honor, with the Best Documentary Film receiving a cash prize of 100,000 liras ($3,000) and the Jury Special Award offering 50,000 liras ($1,500).

In the short film category, the Best Film in both national and international competitions will each be awarded 50,000 liras, while the Grand Prize winner will receive 100,000 liras.
