Ankara: A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Trkiye's eastern Van province at 8.52 am (0552GMT) on Saturday, as reported by Trkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

According to Anadolu Agency, the epicenter of the tremor was located in Van's Tusba district at a depth of 7 kilometers (4.35 miles).

Van Governor Ozan Balci informed Anadolu that there have been no reports of casualties. He added that authorities are actively conducting search operations to assess the situation.
