Beijing: China on Monday successfully launched 15 new satellites into space, including a satellite for Oman. The launch took place aboard the Lijian-1 Y5 commercial rocket at precisely 12.03 p.m. (0403GMT). This significant event occurred at a commercial aerospace innovation pilot zone located in the northwest part of the country. According to Anadolu Agency, the satellites launched include the Jilin-1 Gaofen series, Yunyao-1 series, Xiguang-1 series, as well as a remote-sensing satellite specifically for Oman. This recent launch follows China's space endeavors last month when it sent a new crewed mission, Shenzhou-19, carrying three astronauts to its Tiangong space station. Meanwhile, three astronauts from a previous mission successfully returned to Earth last week. The China Manned Space Agency announced on Monday that the Tianzhou-7 cargo craft, which had been delivering supplies to the Tiangong space station, successfully separated from the station on Sunday. The cargo craft is now set to return to Eart h, marking another milestone in China's growing space exploration efforts.
