Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 9,658.93 points, a slight decrease of 0.38 points from the previous close. This minimal change followed a notable rise on Tuesday.
According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 experienced a 1.82% increase on Tuesday, closing at 9,659.31 points with a daily transaction volume of 98.9 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $2.5 billion. As markets opened on Wednesday, the exchange rates were recorded at 39.1865 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 44.7560 to the euro, and 52.8090 to the British pound.
In the commodities market, the price of an ounce of gold was at $3,336.98. Brent crude oil was trading at $66.70 per barrel, reflecting current market conditions.
