Ankara: Trkiye will increase its cooperation with Mongolia in bilateral trade, investments and both countries' business worlds, Trkiye's trade minister said on Thursday. "Trkiye and Mongolia, which have ancient ties, have the potential to engage in commercial and economic cooperation in many areas, especially contracting, tourism, mining, clean energy, technology, food and animal husbandry," Omer Bolat said on X, following a meeting of the Trkiye-Mongolia Business and Investment Meeting in Ankara.
According to Anadolu Agency, the trade minister expressed optimism about the forthcoming leaders' meeting hosted by the President in Ankara, with further meetings scheduled in Istanbul. Bolat emphasized that these discussions are expected to contribute positively to the bilateral relations between the two nations.
He also highlighted the significance of the newly signed Agreement for the Establishment of the Trkiye-Mongolia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum, expressing hope that it will be beneficial for both countries.
