Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index BIST 100 opened Tuesday at 10,008.82 points, marking a decrease of 0.2% or 20.49 points from its previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index had seen a rise of 0.51% on Monday, closing at 10,029.31 points with a daily transaction volume reaching 96 billion liras, equivalent to $2.71 billion.

As trading commenced at 10.30 a.m. local time (0730GMT), the exchange rates were recorded at 35.6110 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 36.9875 for the euro, and 43.7220 for the British pound. Meanwhile, the price of one ounce of gold stood at $2,727.30, and Brent crude oil was trading at $79.05 per barrel.
