Trump Dismisses Four Key Biden-Era Appointees

Washington: Hours after reclaiming office, US President Donald Trump announced the dismissal of four senior government officials who were appointed by his predecessor, former President Joe Biden. Trump shared the news via a post on Truth Social, stating that the removals mark the beginning of a broader effort to realign the administration with his vision.

According to Anadolu Agency, the dismissals are part of Trump's initiative to remove over a thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous administration. Trump emphasized that these actions are necessary to ensure the government reflects his commitment to "Make America Great Again."

The individuals affected by this decision include Jose Andres from the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, Mark Milley from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, Brian Hook from the Wilson Center for Scholars, and Keisha Lance Bottoms from the President's Export Council. Trump indicated that more dismissals are anticipated as he continues to restructure his administration.
