Turkish Defense Ministry Slams Plans to Expel Palestinians from Gaza

Ankara: The Turkish National Defense Ministry on Thursday made clear its opposition to any plans that aim to displace Palestinians from Gaza. At a weekly press conference, a ministry spokesperson stated that it was 'completely opposed to the exile, displacement, or expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza.'

According to Anadolu Agency, the spokesperson further commented on Israel's annexation policies, emphasizing that these actions aim to displace Palestinians from their lands and deny Palestinian refugees the right to return. The spokesperson highlighted the ministry's stance against such policies.

The ministry also mentioned ongoing efforts to support Syria. It noted that 'in line with the new Syrian government's requests, a roadmap with concrete goals is being drawn up to bolster the capacities of the Syrian army.' This indicates Turkey's continued involvement in regional stability and military support initiatives.
