Ankara: The Trkiye women's basketball team has successfully qualified for the 2025 European Championship after an impressive performance, winning all six of their qualifying matches. The team capped off their flawless run with a decisive 99-61 victory over Romania in the final match of Group F on Sunday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trkiye's recent triumph against Romania follows a previous dominant win, where the team scored a 101-54 victory. This consistent performance has ensured Trkiye's participation in the European Championships for the 11th consecutive time.

Since 2005, the Crescent Stars have been a constant presence in the European Championship, participating in the tournament 10 times. Trkiye's past achievements include winning a silver medal in 2011 and a bronze medal in 2013, highlighting their competitive stature in international women's basketball.
