Jakarta: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta on Tuesday after concluding a two-day official visit to Malaysia. Erdogan was warmly received by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Turkish Ambassador to Jakarta Talip Kucukcan, and other officials at the Halim Perdanakusuma Military Airport.

According to Anadolu Agency, the presidential entourage includes first lady Emine Erdogan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defense Minister Yasar Guler, and Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar. Erdogan and the first lady were greeted by Indonesian children waving Turkish and Indonesian flags upon their arrival at the hotel, where they are set to stay for the duration of their visit.

The Turkish president is scheduled to meet his Indonesian counterpart for a bilateral discussion at the Bogor Presidential Palace on Wednesday. Additionally, Erdogan will participate in the first meeting of the High Level Cooperation Council, witness the signing ceremony of agreements, and attend a joint press conference.

The visit is part of Erdogan's four-day tour across Asia, which began on Sunday and includes stops in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan.
