Trump’s Eldest Son Shares ‘Deepfake’ Video Mocking Zelenskyy

Washington: US President Donald Trump's eldest son shared a "deepfake" video Thursday on X that mocked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy by showing him dancing. The video, created using artificial intelligence, swapped Zelenskyy's face with footage of another person dancing. It was first shared by another user before being reposted by Donald Trump Jr. on his account.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trump Jr. accompanied the video with a caption suggesting that Zelenskyy should attempt to win the war without continuous financial aid from the US, questioning the effectiveness of such an approach. Trump Jr.'s comments come amid a broader critique from the Trump family towards Zelenskyy.

On Wednesday, Trump described the Ukrainian leader as a "Dictator without Elections" and cautioned that Zelenskyy needed to act swiftly or risk losing his country. These statements followed accusations from Zelenskyy, who claimed that Trump had fallen into a "space of disinformation" propagated by Russia, expressing hope that Trump's team would develop a clearer understanding of the situation in Ukraine.
