Kyiv: Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on Wednesday met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide and Minister of Labour and Inclusion Tonje Brenna in Kyiv to discuss defense industry cooperation, energy resilience, and recovery efforts.
According to Anadolu Agency, Sybiha shared in a statement on X that the discussions were a continuation of agreements reached the previous week between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store during their meeting in Oslo. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to the Norwegian government, parliament, municipalities, and citizens for their consistent support in Ukraine's pursuit of freedom, security, and shared principles.
The meeting also covered topics such as food security and other urgent matters. Sybiha provided updates to the Norwegian delegation on Ukraine's ongoing diplomatic efforts, highlighting discussions taking place in Saudi Arabia aimed at securing a 'fair peace.'
