Istanbul: Russia has announced that the second round of consultations with the United States is scheduled to take place in Istanbul "in the coming days." The discussions aim to address the normalization of the diplomatic missions' operations between Moscow and Washington.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the meeting's venue, format, and participants remain unchanged. The consultations are slated to occur at the Russian Consulate in Istanbul at 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Thursday. Leading the Russian delegation will be Alexander Nikitich Darchiev, while the US team will be headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary Sonata Coulter.
This upcoming meeting follows an earlier round of talks held on February 27 at the US Consulate General's residence in Istanbul, where both delegations discussed the operations of their respective embassies as part of ongoing bilateral efforts.
