Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100, opened Thursday at 9,579.11 points, marking an increase of 3.27% or 303.61 points from its previous closing position.

According to Anadolu Agency, on Wednesday, the BIST 100 had experienced a decline of 2.13%, closing at 9,275.50 points, with a daily transaction volume reaching 97.6 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to approximately $2.56 billion.

As of 10.02 am local time (0702GMT) on Thursday, exchange rates were recorded at 37.9433 liras to the US dollar, 41.7552 to the euro, and 48.7967 to the British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $3,135.74, and Brent crude oil was trading at $64.97 per barrel.
