Khan Younis: The Israeli army has issued an evacuation order for Palestinian civilians in several areas of the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis in anticipation of upcoming airstrikes. Military spokesman Avichay Adraee released a map highlighting approximately 10 areas from which residents are instructed to evacuate before military action is taken.

According to Anadolu Agency, the evacuation orders follow an incident where the Israeli army intercepted a rocket launched from Khan Younis early on Sunday. This event has increased tensions in the region, prompting the military to prepare for further strikes.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant casualties, with over 50,900 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, reported killed in Gaza since October 2023. The humanitarian situation has drawn international attention and condemnation.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Furthermore, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice related to its actions in the enclave.
