Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, opened on Wednesday at 9,369.37 points, marking a decrease of 0.26% or 24.42 points from its previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index had previously closed on Tuesday at 9,393.79 points, following a decline of 0.32%. The daily transaction volume on that day was recorded at 89.1 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to approximately $2.33 billion.

At 10:10 am local time (0710GMT), the exchange rates were noted as 38.1195 liras to the US dollar, 43.5620 to the euro, and 50.5940 to the British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold was reported at $3,296.80, while Brent crude oil was trading at $63.65 per barrel.
