Turkish President Erdogan and Italian President Mattarella Engage in Talks on Key Issues

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Italian President Sergio Mattarella have engaged in discussions addressing regional and global issues, with a focus on strengthening bilateral ties.

According to Anadolu Agency, President Erdogan emphasized the commitment of Trkiye and Italy to enhance their bilateral relations, with the aim of achieving a $40 billion trade volume. Trkiye's Communications Directorate conveyed Erdogan's dedication to fostering cooperation between the two nations during the meeting.

President Erdogan highlighted Ankara's ongoing efforts to resolve regional conflicts, particularly the Russia-Ukraine war and the situation in Palestinian territories. He reiterated Trkiye's commitment to working towards a lasting ceasefire and peace in these areas.
