Trkiye’s President Erdogan, Syrian Counterpart Sharaa Discuss Israel-Iran Conflict

Ankara: Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Syrian counterpart Ahmad al-Sharaa engaged in a phone conversation on Saturday to discuss the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as regional and global issues, as reported by Trkiye's Communications Directorate.

According to Anadolu Agency, President Erdogan expressed concerns about the cycle of violence perpetuated by Israel, which he stated poses a threat to the stability of the region. He underscored the importance of Syria maintaining neutrality and avoiding involvement in the conflict.

Additionally, President Erdogan highlighted the necessity for increased vigilance against terrorist groups and radical elements amid the current situation of Israeli aggression.
