Isfahan: Israel's attacks on Iran targeted the Shahid Raisi Nuclear Power Plant in Isfahan early Saturday, Iran's state-run IRNA news agency reported. Isfahan Deputy Governor Akbar Salehi stated that rescue teams were dispatched immediately following the attack, and no casualties have been reported.
According to Anadolu Agency, concerns about potential radiation leakage were addressed by Salehi, who confirmed that there is no pollution from the plant "that would cause concern." On Friday, Israel targeted the Natanz and Fordo nuclear facilities. Iran's Atomic Energy Organization reported that nuclear contamination was detected inside the Natanz nuclear facility following Israeli strikes.
Kamalvandi, a spokesperson for Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, informed Iran's state television that "some contamination was detected inside the facility, but this contamination did not spread outside the facility."
