Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke over the phone with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi to discuss Israel's ongoing attacks on Iran.

According to Anadolu Agency, the conversation between the two leaders focused on the recent escalation of regional tensions following Israel's airstrikes on multiple sites in Iran, including military and nuclear facilities. These strikes, which began on Friday, have led to a significant increase in hostilities, with Tehran responding with retaliatory attacks.

The conflict has resulted in considerable casualties, with reports indicating that at least 585 people have been killed and 1,326 others injured since the onset of Israel's offensive. In response to Iran's missile attacks, Israeli authorities have reported the deaths of at least 24 individuals and hundreds of injuries.
