Kahramanmaras: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay an official visit to Trkiye on Thursday at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. As part of his visit, Aliyev will join Erdogan to inaugurate a permanent housing project named 'Azerbaijan Neighborhood' in the southern province of Kahramanmaras.

According to Anadolu Agency, this housing project has been built jointly by Trkiye and Azerbaijan following the devastating earthquakes that occurred in February 2023. The visit underscores the collaborative efforts between the two nations in addressing the needs of those affected by the disaster.

Fahrettin Altun, Trkiye's communications director, highlighted that the visit will also serve as a platform for the two leaders to discuss bilateral relations and current regional developments. The discussions are expected to strengthen ties and promote cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye.
