Moscow: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Moscow for pivotal discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin following recent military actions by the US and Israel targeting Iran's nuclear facilities. Araghchi aims to address shared challenges and threats with Putin, particularly in light of recent strategic developments in the region.

According to Anadolu Agency, Araghchi highlighted the necessity for "closer, more precise and serious" consultations between Iran and Russia given the current regional dynamics. He expressed confidence that the talks with Putin would be significant and mutually beneficial for both nations.

The Russian state news agency TASS also reported the arrival of the top Iranian diplomat, noting his appreciation for Moscow's condemnation of the US strikes on Iranian territory.
