Jerusalem: The Israeli army announced on Monday that it has conducted airstrikes on six military targets in Iran, resulting in the destruction of 15 aircraft. The military statement detailed that the targeted airports were located in western, eastern, and central regions of Iran, causing damage to runways, underground bunkers, a refueling aircraft, and various models of helicopters and jets including F-14, F-5, and AH-1.

According to Anadolu Agency, there has been no official comment from Iran regarding these claims by Israel. This development marks a continuation of the aerial combat between Israel and Iran, which began on June 13. The conflict was initiated by a surprise attack from Tel Aviv on multiple sites in Iran, including military and nuclear facilities. In response, Iran launched retaliatory strikes against Israel.

Israeli authorities have reported that at least 25 people have died and hundreds have been injured as a result of Iranian missile attacks since the hostilities commenced. Meanwhile, the Iranian Health Ministry has reported that in Iran, the Israeli assault has resulted in the deaths of at least 430 people and more than 3,500 injuries.
