Explosions Heard in Tehran as Air Defenses Activated

Tehran: Explosions were heard Monday in the eastern part of Iran's capital, Tehran, with air defense systems activated in response. Authorities have yet to report any casualties or damage from the incident.

According to Anadolu Agency, the explosions come in the wake of ongoing US-Israeli strikes against Iran, which began on February 28. These strikes have reportedly resulted in the deaths of at least 1,300 people, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

While the situation remains tense, more details are awaited to understand the full extent of the recent explosions and the response by Iranian defense systems.
