Ramallah: Israeli forces arrested at least 15 Palestinians on Sunday, while illegal Israeli settlers set fire to a farming structure in the occupied West Bank, according to official Palestinian media and local sources. In a series of pre-dawn raids, Israeli troops stormed areas in Salfit, Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Hebron, leading to arrests, assaults on residents, and the ransacking of homes, the Palestinian News Agency Wafa reported.

According to Anadolu Agency, Wafa indicated that a group of illegal Israeli settlers ignited an agricultural room in the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, early on Sunday. The report detailed how settlers infiltrated the al-Murj and Wadi al-Qattan areas, using incendiary materials to set a farming structure ablaze, impacting local residents.

This incident is part of a pattern of illegal settler assaults on property in the region, including the recent theft of several sheep. Data from the Palestinian Authority's Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission shows that settlers conducted 2,153 attacks during the first half of this year, resulting in four Palestinian deaths.

Since the escalation of Israel's military actions in Gaza, at least 993 Palestinians have been killed and more than 7,000 injured in the West Bank due to actions by Israeli forces and illegal settlers, as reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry. In a significant ruling last July, the International Court of Justice deemed Israel's occupation of Palestinian territory illegal, advocating for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
