Several Injured as Israeli Army Renews Strikes on Syria’s Suwayda

Suwayda: Several people were injured in Suwayda on Wednesday as the Israeli army renewed airstrikes in the southern Syrian province, Syrian media said. The state news agency SANA reported that Israeli drones launched strikes in the province, resulting in injuries to several individuals, though no further details were provided.

According to Anadolu Agency, Israel's Army Radio confirmed the attacks, stating that the strikes targeted Syrian army assets in the area. These attacks followed a statement from Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, who threatened to continue targeting Syrian forces if they did not withdraw from Suwayda province. The region is currently experiencing unrest between the Druze and Bedouin communities.
