Tel aviv: Israel's Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir announced that the war against Iran is not over. During a military assessment meeting, Zamir emphasized that "Iran and its axis remain in our sights," stating that the campaign against Iran is ongoing.

According to Anadolu Agency, Zamir instructed the army to be ready for "a continued wide-scale and comprehensive campaign" across various regions where Israeli forces conduct aerial and ground offensives. He highlighted efforts to weaken and prevent Syria and Hezbollah from attaining strategic capabilities while maintaining Israel's operational freedom, specifically mentioning operations in Judea and Samaria (West Bank).

Zamir addressed the conflict in the Gaza Strip, describing it as one of the most complex situations the IDF has encountered. He acknowledged the significant toll the conflict has taken, citing a "heavy price in combat" and reaffirmed objectives to secure the return of hostages and dismantle Hamas.

Since October 2023, Israel's military actions in the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of more than 59,100 Palestinians, predominantly women and children. The campaign has severely impacted the enclave, leading to the collapse of the health system and acute food shortages.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its actions in the enclave.
