Tel aviv: Trkiye's benchmark stock index concluded the week at 10,642.60 points on Friday, reflecting a decline of 0.43% from the previous day's close. The Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index, which began the day at 10,707.95 points, experienced a decrease of 46.45 points from Thursday's figures.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index observed its lowest point at 10,622.91 and reached a daily high of 10,722.97. The overall market value of the BIST 100 was approximately 9.85 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $243.9 billion. The trading volume for the day amounted to 83.2 billion Turkish liras, or $2.05 billion.

The performance of stocks on the index showed that 37 stocks saw an increase, while 62 stocks experienced a drop, when compared to the previous close. In related financial markets, the price of gold stood at $3,333.70 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was priced at $68.05 per barrel as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT).

In currency exchange, the US dollar was trading at 40.5525 Turkish liras, the euro at 47.6195 Turkish liras, and the British pound was valued at 54.5115 Turkish liras.
