Gaza: At least 60,138 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's ongoing military actions on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Health Ministry reported on Wednesday.

According to Anadolu Agency, a statement from the ministry highlighted that in the past 24 hours, 104 bodies were brought to hospitals, and 399 individuals were injured, raising the total number of injuries to 146,269. Many victims remain trapped under debris and on roads, as rescuers face challenges in reaching them.

The report further detailed that 60 Palestinians were killed and over 195 injured while attempting to obtain humanitarian aid in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed while seeking aid to 1,239, with over 8,152 others wounded since May 27.

The Israeli military resumed its offensive on the Gaza Strip on March 18, resulting in 8,970 deaths and 34,228 injuries, disrupting a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement established in January.

On Monday, Israeli rights organizations B'Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights-Israel accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. They cited the systematic dismantling of Palestinian society and the deliberate targeting of the territory's healthcare system.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its actions in the enclave.
