Gaza: At least 60,839 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Health Ministry reported on Sunday. A ministry statement highlighted that 119 bodies were brought to hospitals in the past 24 hours, with 866 individuals injured, bringing the total number of injuries to 149,588.

According to Anadolu Agency, the death toll increased significantly after 290 bodies were verified and documented. The ministry emphasized that numerous victims remain trapped under debris and on roads, as rescue efforts are hindered.

The statement further revealed that 65 Palestinians were killed and over 511 injured while attempting to secure humanitarian aid in the last 24 hours, raising the total casualties in aid-related incidents to 1,487 deaths and more than 10,578 injuries since May 27.

The Israeli military resumed its offensive on the Gaza Strip on March 18, resulting in 9,350 deaths and 37,547 injuries, disrupting a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement established in January.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the region.
