London: Bitcoin continued its rally early Monday, surpassing $122,000 and on the brink of an all-time high level. The price of the largest cryptocurrency was $122,321 as of 0655GMT, and around $121,390 as of 0925GMT, up 2.6% day-on-day.
According to Anadolu Agency, the value of the global cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin, rose approximately 2.2% in the past 24 hours, reaching $4.04 trillion. Bitcoin's market capitalization also rose 2.55% in the past 24 hours, hitting $2.41 trillion, with a daily trading volume of $77.6 billion, up more than 26.5%.
The price of Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is up almost 30% since the start of this year. The price of Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, gained around 1.3% in value, rising to $4,273.
