London: In a symbolic move described as a 'defiant act of truth,' the Palestinian flag was raised over the Palestinian mission in London, as the Palestinian envoy called for a UK arms embargo on Israel. The act comes amid ongoing tensions and escalating violence in the region, drawing attention to the Palestinian cause and urging international intervention.

According to Anadolu Agency, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha recently engaged in discussions with World Food Program's (WFP) Executive Director Cindy McCain at the United Nations headquarters in New York. The talks centered on humanitarian cooperation, agricultural demining, and global food security, with a strong focus on the impact of the ongoing war with Russia on Ukraine's food security efforts.

Sybiha emphasized the critical role of the WFP in facilitating the freedom of navigation in the Black Sea, a crucial route for global food supply chains. He reaffirmed Ukraine's commitment to maintaining its position as a significant contributor to global food security, despite the challenges posed by the war. Humanitarian food shipments from Ukraine have reportedly reached over 10 million people across 18 countries.

Expressing his appreciation, Sybiha thanked the WFP and its team in Ukraine for their continuous support and assistance in delivering essential aid to those in need within the country.
