Trump to Hold Multilateral Meeting with Leaders of Majority-Muslim Nations at UN General Assembly

New york: US President Donald Trump is set to hold a multilateral meeting with the leaders of several majority-Muslim countries on Tuesday. The meeting, announced by the White House on Monday, will take place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly and will include leaders from Trkiye, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan.

According to Anadolu Agency, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt did not specify the agenda for the meeting, although it is anticipated to focus on Gaza. She informed reporters that President Trump will travel from Washington, D.C., to New York on Monday evening, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, to attend the 80th UN General Assembly session.

Leavitt noted that President Trump is scheduled to deliver a significant speech on Tuesday morning. The address will highlight "the renewal of American strength around the world" and outline his achievements during the first eight months of his second term, including "ending seven global wars and conflicts." The speech is expected to critique "globalist institutions" and present Trump's "straightforward and constructive vision for the world."

In addition to the multilateral meeting, President Trump will engage in bilateral discussions with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and leaders from Ukraine, Argentina, and the European Union on Tuesday. He is also scheduled to attend a reception with world leaders on Tuesday night before returning to Washington, according to Leavitt.
