Turkish Motorcycle Racer Toprak Razgatlioglu Clinches 2025 World Superbike Championship in Spain

Madrid: Turkish motorcycle racer Toprak Razgatlioglu on Sunday won the 2025 World Superbike Championship (WSB).

According to Anadolu Agency, Razgatlioglu secured the 2025 WSBK world title after finishing third in the season's final race in Spain. Known to his fans as "El Turco," he previously won the championships in 2021 and 2024, and with this latest victory, he has now claimed the title three times in total.

In an interview with Anadolu, Razgatlioglu dedicated the championship to his country and highlighted the teamwork involved in his success. He stated, "This is not a victory alone. You see me on screen by myself, but behind me is a large team. Everyone gives their best, and even a tiny loose bolt could take us out of the race. That's why the team and crew are so important. We succeeded together, and we won together."

Razgatlioglu won the 2025 championship with a total of 616 points. Italian motorcycle racer Nicolo Bulega finished second overall with 603 points, while Spanish racer Alvaro Bautista came in third with 337 points.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Razgatlioglu in a post on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, expressing that the rider's victory brought "immense pride and joy to all of us."
